How Earthing Works: The Science
Grounding, also called earthing, is the practice of making direct contact with the Earth's surface. It's a simple concept — connecting with the ground beneath our feet, just as humans have done throughout history.
The Earth's surface carries a natural electrical charge. When your body makes direct contact with the ground — whether by walking barefoot outdoors or using a grounding product connected to a grounded outlet — a conductive pathway is created between your body and the Earth.
