NDIS Funding for Grounding Sheets: How to Buy and Claim

Short answer: Premium Grounding is not a registered NDIS provider, but self-managed and plan-managed participants have bought our grounding sheets with their NDIS funding. We can supply the tax invoice your plan manager needs. Whether a grounding sheet fits your plan is decided by you and your plan manager or support coordinator, not by us.

Who can use this

• Self-managed participants: you buy the sheet, we give you a tax invoice, and you claim it against your plan.
• Plan-managed participants: we send a tax invoice to your plan manager, and we ship once it is paid.
• Agency-managed (NDIA-managed) participants: agency-managed funding can generally only be spent with registered providers, so this route is unlikely to work for you. Check with your support coordinator.

How to buy with NDIS funding

1. Check with your plan manager or support coordinator first. Ask whether a grounding sheet fits your plan and which budget it would come from. We cannot tell you whether it will be approved.
2. Choose your product and size. See the grounding sheet and sizes.
3. Email us at contact@premiumgrounding.au with the subject line "NDIS invoice" and:
   • the participant's name and NDIS number
   • the product and bed size
   • the delivery address and a phone number for the courier
   • your plan manager's name and email address, if you are plan-managed
4. We send the tax invoice to you or directly to your plan manager.
5. We ship from our Melbourne warehouse once the invoice is paid. If you are self-managed and have already ordered on the website, send us your order number and we will email the tax invoice for your claim.

What is on the invoice

• Premium Grounding Pty Ltd, ABN 31 676 123 569
• Invoice number and date
• The participant's name and NDIS number
• A plain description of each item, the quantity and the price including GST

If your plan manager needs something else on the invoice, tell us and we will add it.

What we can and cannot say

We do not claim that a grounding sheet treats, cures or prevents any condition, and we cannot say whether it is a reasonable and necessary support for you. Many of our customers buy a grounding sheet for sleep and comfort. If you are unsure, talk to your occupational therapist or support coordinator before you order.

Common questions

Does the 120-night trial apply to NDIS-funded orders?

Yes. Every sheet comes with the same 120-night trial, however it is paid for.

Can a parent, carer or nominee order for a participant?

Yes. Send us the participant's details as listed above and tell us who to send the invoice to.

Do you supply aged care and other funded providers?

Yes. If a provider is paying for the order, email us the provider's details and we will invoice them directly.

What is the sheet made of?

70% cotton and 30% stainless steel fibre, with no silver. It sits flat under your own fitted sheet and plugs into the earth pin of a standard Australian power point. No electricity runs through it.
