Heavy legs, swollen ankles, tingling feet. Here's why it peaks at night, and what to do tonight.
Ankles that are fine at breakfast and puffy by dinner. Legs that feel like lead on the stairs. Feet that tingle or burn the moment you lie down. The same eight hours make all of them worse, and elevation and walking cannot reach those hours.

Why the evening and the night are the problem
By evening, gravity has had all day to pool blood and fluid in the lower legs, which is why ankles swell late and legs feel heavy on the way to bed. Then you lie still for eight hours: no calf muscle pump, no movement, and for tingling or burning feet, nothing to distract from the sensation. Heavy legs, swollen ankles, cramps, restless legs and burning feet are five names for the same window.
Three things to do today
- Elevate before bed. Fifteen minutes with the feet above the heart: cushions under the mattress end, or legs up the wall. Cheapest thing in the plan and most people skip it.
- Use the calf pump before you switch it off. Twenty slow calf raises and twenty ankle circles each side, in bed, before you lie down. The calf is the second heart for the legs.
- Compression by day, not by night. Light compression socks during the day keep fluid from pooling in the first place. Off for bed. Cold feet: warm them before bed. Swollen, hot ankles: cool them.
See a doctor urgently if one leg swells suddenly, or a calf is painful, hot or red. And if your feet burn or tingle most nights, ask for a proper check; numbness has causes that deserve a diagnosis.
The eight hours nothing else covers
Elevation, movement and compression all stop when you go to bed. The next eight hours are the part of the plan this covers, and it reaches your feet through your fitted sheet for the whole night.
A grounding sheet is a flat sheet woven with fine 316L stainless steel fibre (about 30% steel, 70% cotton). It lies flat on the mattress under your own fitted sheet, and a cord runs from the corner to the earth pin of a wall socket. That gives your body the same electrical connection to the ground you would get standing barefoot on grass, for the whole night, without you doing anything. You never lie on the steel; it works through the bedding.

Safety, plainly. The plug's active and neutral pins are plastic; only the earth pin is metal, so the sheet physically cannot connect to mains power. There is a 100kΩ resistor at the snap and a resettable fuse in the plug. It is a high-resistance connection to earth and nothing else.

Try it for 120 nights
120 nights is long enough to know whether your legs feel different in the morning. Sleep on it for up to 120 nights. If it has not done anything for you, return it for a refund. Every sheet is tested for conductivity before it ships, and the conductivity is warranted for three years.

Questions people ask before they try it
Sheet or mat for legs and feet?
For the night, the sheet: it reaches your feet through the fitted sheet for eight hours. For feet under a desk or on the couch during the day, the mat. Circulation customers often use both.
Will it help restless legs?
We do not claim that. Customers with restless legs are among the most common to write in about the sheet, and the 120 nights are there so you can judge it on your own legs. If you have restless legs, ask your doctor for an iron check; low iron is the most common fixable cause.
Is it safe? It plugs into the wall.
Only the earth pin of the plug is metal; the active and neutral pins are plastic, so it cannot connect to mains power. A 100kΩ resistor sits at the snap and a resettable fuse in the plug. The cord carries no operating voltage.
Does my fitted sheet go over it?
Yes. The grounding sheet lies flat on the mattress and your normal fitted sheet goes over the top. Grounding works through the bedding; you never lie on the steel.
How do I know my socket is earthed?
A socket tester (sold separately, a few dollars) tells you in seconds. Older houses fail this more often than you would think. How to test a grounding sheet walks through it, including a no-tools method.
How do I wash it?
Gentle cycle every couple of months, no bleach and no fabric softener (both coat the fibre), air dry. Treated that way the conductivity is warranted for three years.
Which size do I need?
Single/Twin, Double, Queen, King and Super King. One sheet covers the bed for both of you; pick your mattress size on the product page.
What if I feel nothing?
Some people notice a change in the first week, some take a month, and for some it does nothing they can feel. That is why the trial is 120 nights: long enough to know either way.
The daytime is covered. Give the night a tool.
Elevate, pump the calves, compress by day. Then give the eight hours you are lying down the one tool that reaches them.
