The Founder's Story

Premium Grounding was founded by James McWhinney, an Australian entrepreneur who first discovered earthing after years of searching for natural ways to improve his sleep and recovery.

The concept was simple and backed by a growing body of research: connect your body to the earth's natural electric charge, and good things happen. Reduced inflammation. Deeper sleep. Faster recovery. James was convinced enough to try it — so he bought a grounding sheet.

It worked. For about six months.

Then it stopped. The sheet looked fine, but when he tested it with a multimeter, the conductivity had plummeted. He bought another brand. Same story. A third. Same result. Every grounding sheet on the market was made with silver-coated fibres, and every single one degraded within 6 to 24 months as the silver oxidized from contact with body sweat, natural skin oils, and humidity.

James wasn't willing to accept a product that quietly stopped working while you slept on it, unaware. So he set out to build something better.

Why Stainless Steel Changes Everything

The problem with silver-based grounding products isn't the concept — it's the material. Silver is inherently reactive.
